Questions about the glass lids

Still unsure? We're always here to help.

Which size lid should I choose?

The same size as your pot or pan. If you have a 26 cm frying pan, the 26 cm lid is the one that fits. Our pans and pots are measured across the top inside edge, and the lids are measured the same way.

What does the steam vent do?

It lets a little steam escape while the lid is on. So you can simmer soup, rice or a stew with the lid on and still see how it's going through the glass, without lifting the lid and letting the heat out.

Is the glass oven-safe?

Yes. The glass lids with a steam vent and the stackable glass lids take up to 250 °C, and the lids with a silicone rim up to 220 °C. The lid gets hot in the oven, so lift it with a pot holder or oven glove.

How do I clean the glass?

Let the lid cool first, so the glass doesn't go from hot to cold all at once. Wash it in warm water with a little mild soap and a soft sponge, then dry it. That way the glass stays clear.

What's the difference between the lids?

The glass lids with a steam vent and the stackable glass lids are oven-safe to 250 °C, and the stackable ones are flat, so they take up less space. The lids with a silicone rim take 220 °C and also come for pots and pans with a detachable handle.

Do the pans come with lids?

No, our pans and pots are sold without lids, so you only buy the lids you need. Choose the lid in the same size as the pan or pot. If you have several sizes, a set is the easy way to get a lid for each.

What if it doesn't fit?

Use it at home for up to 100 days. If it doesn't fit, or it's just not for you, send it back with a free return label and get your money back. That applies even if you've used it.
