Getting the meat right

Push the probe into the middle of the meat, up to the safety line, and follow the temperature wirelessly while you stand at the grill. The thermometer has two probes, so you can watch two pieces of meat at once. The spatula turns, scrapes and cuts.

How far in should the probe go?

Into the middle of the meat, where it measures most accurately. The probe has a safety line that shows how far it should go in. If it isn't pushed in up to the line, the thermometer may warn that it's getting too hot.

Can I use the thermometer on the grill?

Yes, both on the grill and in the oven. The oven can be above 100 °C, just no hotter than 300 °C, so the thermometer works as it should. It must not be used in a microwave or a vacuum.

How far away can I go?

The wireless thermometer has a range of 60 metres. So you can sit down at the table with your guests while the meat finishes, and with two probes you can follow two pieces of meat at once.

What can the grill spatula do?

It turns and moves food like an ordinary spatula, and the angled front edge scrapes burnt-on food off the grate. Both sides cut: one is finely serrated, the other coarser, for bread for example.

How do I clean it?

Always let it cool first. Brush off leftover food with a grill brush or a washing-up brush, then hand wash it in warm water with a little mild soap. That way the steel keeps its smart finish.
