While our Saute Pots are all oven safe, we really wanted to find a way to eliminate the hassle of having to use a regular tempered glass oventray for making larger portions of oven-based dishes, such as lasagna, chops-in-dish, or anything similar. With the Saute Pot, we solved this problem once and for all. Forget about oven trays that are completely impossible to clean and also require you to use a separate Saute Pot to fry/saute the meat or vegetables before going in the oven.
We designed the largest size, the 32cm to fit perfectly in a regular market sized oven, giving you the highest possible volume to fit in the oven. Our two smaller sizes, the 28cm and 24 cm, will stack perfectly in the 32cm size, to make for easy and convenient storing.
The ONYX COOKWARE™ SAUTE POT is a hybrid between our saute pan and our cooking pots that with its characterizable higher edges, open up the doors to a whole new dimension of endless possibilities as to what you can make with one pot or pan. As the higher edges on the ONYX COOKWARE™ SAUTE POT provides spaces for dishes that contain liquid or make it possible to fry something at supe high heat while vigorously shaking it around without it falling out of the pan.
The other half of the hybrid is the cooking pot/oven tray side. The two opposite handles are what sets it apart from a normal saute pan. The two opposite handles make it easy to lift it directly from the stove or the oven and maneuver it around. Use it on the stove or in the oven as a pot or use it without the lid as a deep roasting pan for the oven. Ready to serve? Take the pan straight out of the oven and set it directly on the table (remember a trivet) – this is made easy by the two handles on each side of the pot to which also makes it stable and safe to lift.
