To protect the ultra-sharp VG-10 core and preserve the distinctive 67-layer Damascus pattern, always wash the knife by hand and dry it immediately after use. Use softer cutting surfaces such as walnut wood or plastic, and avoid cutting through bones, frozen food or directly on hard surfaces. Store the knife safely in a knife block, on a magnetic knife strip, with a blade guard or in a knife roll to protect the blade – never leave the knife loose in a drawer.
